What are we willing to suffer for Jesus?

2 Corinthians Bible Background

09.20.2015 New Testament: 2Co 11.24–25

To read the Bible in a year, read Second Corinthians 11.16–33 on September 20, In the year of our Lord 2015

By Don Ruhl

Once I was talking to a preacher, and two women came up to him. The first one spoke, complaining of how cold it was in the building. When she finished and left, the second one, who heard what the older first lady said, complained that it was way to hot in the building! Now I read these words of Paul,

From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep… (2 Corinthians 11.24–25).

What are you willing to suffer for the Lord Jesus?
