Many are the people who say that the Bible does not appeal to them. They believe that brushing it off in that manner, relieves them of any obligation to hear it, believe it, and live it. Isaiah knew people of that nature,
Hear the word of the Lord,
You rulers of Sodom;
Give ear to the law of our God,
You people of Gomorrah…
(Isa 1.10)
The Lord’s people, in particular the rulers of Israel, had gone so far from the Lord that He referred to them as the rulers of Sodom and as the people of Gomorrah. They got that way because they did not want to hear the word of God. Nevertheless, they were still obligated to it, and so is every living person on this Earth.

That is strange. And I was never notified of your comment; I only noticed it after I got onto one of my sites and saw that there was a response. Now, the “Like” button is present. So I do not know what happened earlier.
