09.24.2015 New Testament: Gal 2.7–9
To read the Bible in a year, read Galatians 2 on September 24, In the year of our Lord 2015

The Lord had Paul working in one field and James, Peter, and John working in others, and they all recognized the work that each did,
But on the contrary, when they saw that the gospel for the uncircumcised had been committed to me, as the gospel for the circumcised was to Peter (for He who worked effectively in Peter for the apostleship to the circumcised also worked effectively in me toward the Gentiles), and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that had been given to me, they gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised (Galatians 2.7–9).
None of them thought that his work, his mission field, was more important than the others, but they all supported one another in the work that the Lord had for each of them. You might be surprised by how often this does not occur today. Sometimes a preacher, or missionary, gets attached strongly to his work, and he thinks he works in a greater field, and becomes angry when others do not support him as he wishes.
