12.18.2015 New Testament: Rev 9.20–21
To read the Bible in a year, read Revelation 9 on December 18, In the year of our Lord 2015
By Don Ruhl
As you read the last part of Revelation 9, you will notice horrible things happening to man, yet, most of them still would not repent of their sins,
But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts (Revelation 9.20–21).
Seeing others suffer because of their sin, did not stop these people, and when they suffered for their own sins, they refused to repent. What is it about sin, that people let it dominate them? Romans 6 shows that we obey sin like an absolute monarch. Be careful. Do not let sin get a hold of you, for if it does, you may find it impossible to walk away from it.
