Jesus spoke the Parable of the Sower; later He provided the interpretation, and we ought to accept His interpretation instead of trying to interpret other parts of the parable, as Matthew wrote,

“Therefore hear the parable of the sower…” (Matthew 13.18). 

Yet, I have heard people with other parables provide interpretations for every detail of the story, but if the Lord has provided an interpretation, let that be enough.
