Jesus was a young man when He began His ministry. However, I know that young means different things to different people. The Bible gives His approximate age when He began preaching,

Now Jesus Himself began His ministry at about thirty years of age… (Luke 3.23a).

I began preaching full time when I was 22 years old. Therefore, a preacher 30 years old seemed mature. However, when I was 30, I did not seem so mature. Now that I am getting close to doubling that number, 30 years old sounds young!

Yet, who changed the world more than Jesus did? Are you young? Ignore it, for the Lord will still use you. Are you old? Ignore it, for the Lord will continue to use you, even as He did Moses!

Questions:

• Who in the Bible, whose age is given, was at that time around the age that you are now?
• Do you want the Lord to use you?
