Jesus knew the right time to die. Therefore, at the right time, He headed for Jerusalem, and with a determined look,

Now it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem… (Luke 9.51).

Having done what the Father commanded Jesus to do, He now resides in heaven, sitting at the right hand of the throne.

If you likewise set your face to follow Him, you will be where He is now.

• Can someone in the world or someone in the church so offend you that you cease to follow Jesus?
