Imagine Jesus is eating with you, and He begins to teach and to say all the wonderful things that the Gospel Accounts show us. What would you say? We know what one man said,

Now when one of those who sat at the table with Him heard these things, he said to Him, “Blessed is he who shall eat bread in the kingdom of God!” (Luke 14.15).

Jesus did not disagree with the individual, but gave a parable about the Kingdom of God, for you see, when we reach the heavenly phase of the Kingdom of God, we will eat with the Lord, and even in Luke 12, He explained that He will serve us. Now what do you say?

Questions:

  • What excites you most about heaven?
  • Do you picture yourself eating there?

    • Oh my goodness, I think I would flood Him with questions also, but I would also just want to hear every word He said until my body wore out for the day and I have to go to sleep.
