04.22.2016 New Testament: Luke 18.26–27
To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 18.18–43 on April 22, In the year of our Lord 2016

Jesus stated that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God. That shocked the apostles. Perhaps they thought as we often do, that material success indicates that God has blessed you. Anyway, Luke writes,
And those who heard it said, “Who then can be saved?” But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God” (Luke 18.26–27).
Yes, a rich man can make it to heaven, but it will take the wisdom of God to accomplish it. Truly, God can do things that man just cannot do.
- Do you have money?
- Do you trust in it?
- Do you trust in God? Does it show?
