To read the Bible in a year, read Second Samuel 7–9 on April 23, In the year of our Lord 2016

David wanted to build the Lord a house, but the Lord promised to build David a house. The Lord also spoke of David’s descendants, speaking of the Messiah. When David heard these things, he did not know what to say,
“Now what more can David say to You? For You, Lord GOD, know Your servant. For Your word’s sake, and according to Your own heart, You have done all these great things, to make Your servant know them” (2 Samuel 7.20–21).
Sometimes we just have to tell the Lord that we cannot find the words to express our thanks to Him for the wonderful things He has done for us.
Questions:
- Take an inventory of all that the Lord has done for you.
- What did you discover?
