What drove Jesus daily? Did He busy Himself with seeking the honor of men or did He seek the honor of God?

“I do not receive honor from men” (John 5.41).

Men may have honored Him, but such honor did not make Him the Son of God. Jesus is above all; how then can honor from men make Him something?

• Whose honor do you seek daily?
• If people want to honor you, do you let them?
