06.29.2016 New Testament: Acts 9.15–16
To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 9.1–22 on June 29, In the year of our Lord 2016
By Don Ruhl
Saul of Tarsus made the people of Jesus suffer, and after his conversion, Saul of Tarsus would suffer for the name of Jesus, as the Lord Himself said,
“Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake” (Acts 9.15–16).
And suffer, Saul did. Yet, he seemed to receive it all to the glory of Christ. Jesus suffered to save people like Saul, so people like Saul gladly suffer for Jesus.
- Have you suffered for the name of Jesus?
- If so, would you do it again?
