07.08.2016 – Old Testament: Job 38.19–21
To read the Bible in a year, read Job 38–39 on July 8, In the year of our Lord 2016
By Don Ruhl
When any person begins to think that he knows everything, or that he has nature figured out, or that he has God figured out, such a person should answer the questions that God posed to Job, such as this one,
“Where is the way to the dwelling of light?
And darkness, where is its place,
That you may take it to its territory,
That you may know the paths to its home?
Do you know it, because you were born then,
Or because the number of your days is great?”
(Job 38.19–21)
From where does light come? Where does darkness dwell? Let us remember that God created us, and we did not create ourselves, nor did we create God!
Questions:
- Do you think that God knows what He is doing?
- Do you believe that God has done somethings wrong?
