What love surpasses that of a parent for a child? What happens then when that child turns against the parent? Listen to what David did when his son Absalom turned against him,

A Psalm of David when he fled from Absalom his son.
LORD, how they have increased who trouble me!
Many are they who rise up against me.
Many are they who say of me,
“There is no help for him in God.”

What did David do? He placed the burden on the Lord who can bear such loads! When someone you love turns against you, tell the Lord and see what He does.
