To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 17.16–34 on July 13, In the year of our Lord 2016
By Don Ruhl
Paul preached to the Athenian philosophers who opened themselves to believe virtually anything, except for a story of someone raised from the dead. Paul built his case for the God of the Bible, saying in part,
“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings…” (Acts 17.26).
The Lord made all the nations, and having done so, He has already determined when they shall exist, their birthdates and their deaths, and the extent to which their boundaries shall reach.
Questions:
- Do you believe the Lord controls the destiny of your nation?
