08.02.2016 – New Testament: Rom 3.19–20
To read the Bible in a year, read Romans 3 on August 2, In the year of our Lord 2016

Unfortunately most people believe that the Books of Genesis through Malachi have nothing for us, but if you read the New Testament carefully, you will begin to think otherwise. Think on what Paul said here,
Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin (Romans 3.19–20).
The Law spoke to those under the Law, which would be the Jews, but look at what it did: It stopped every mouth and made all the world guilty before God. That includes more than the Jew. When you read the Law, you see what God thinks of sin. When we see the horrible nature of sin, we see our desperate need for a Savior.
