08.31.2016 Old Testament: Psa 145.8–9
To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 145–147 on August 31, In the year of our Lord 2016
By Don Ruhl
What do you need most? Look over your life. How can the Lord bless you? Surely, what the psalmist wrote of the Lord in the following, we desire greatly,
The Lord is gracious and full of compassion,
Slow to anger and great in mercy.
The Lord is good to all,
And His tender mercies are over all His works.
(Psalm 145.8–9)
I think of things I need for the body, for my life on Earth, but truly, what I need most are things for the spirit, and whether for the body or for the spirit, the Lord grants those things through His grace, compassion, mercy, and overall goodness.
Ask Him to pour out those things upon your soul.
