While the wicked live, they still have the opportunity to change and to seek the good things of the Lord, but when they die in their wickedness, they forever lose all hope, as Solomon wrote,

When a wicked man dies, his expectation will perish,
And the hope of the unjust perishes.
(Proverbs 11.7) 

Therefore, today is the day to turn your life around. Learn to see everyday as another manifestation of the grace of God, giving you time to repent, but also learn that God’s grace only extends to humanity during life on Earth.
