Have you inherited anything? I inherited a small amount of money from my grandfather decades ago, although the lawyer got more than I did, and I inherited half of one of my preaching school teacher’s library.
Yet, in Jesus we will inherit more than money, and more than a little bit of knowledge hidden in books. Paul said,
In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory (Ephesians 1.11–12).
If you fulfill the purpose of God in your life, and if you seek to be to the praise of His glory, who can tell just how grand that inheritance will be?
