Does the word of Christ dwell in you? I do not mean, have you memorized it, but does it live and work in you? How can you know? Read this passage,

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord (Colossians 3.16). [Note that I have moved the first comma from after the word “wisdom” to after the word “richly.”]

If the word of Christ has found a happy home within you, it will show by what comes out of your mouth, that you teach, admonish, and that you sing, because grace fills your heart and you need to speak of it.
