Yes, Cain, we are our brother’s, and sister’s, keeper. Yes, we have an obligation to one another to keep one another from sinning, as it is written,

See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all (1 Thessalonians 5.15).

We not only have an obligation to make sure that our fellow-Christians do not render evil for evil, but we ourselves need to do good things, and not just for ourselves, we must also do good things for others.

Questions:

  • Do you think of doing good for others?
  • When was the last time you did something good for another person?
