10.23.2016 – New Testament: 1Ti 3.14–15
To read the Bible in a year, read First Timothy 3 on October 23, In the year of our Lord 2016

Paul had to delay going to Timothy in Ephesus. Therefore, the apostle wrote to his young friend various instructions on how the church should operate,
These things I write to you, though I hope to come to you shortly; but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth (1 Timothy 3.14–15).
We need to know how to conduct ourselves, because the house of God is the church of the living God. Many Christians fail to recognize just what the church is, that it is His house, the place where He abides, which means that if a Christian does not live a faithful life, the Lord does not abide in that Christian. Be faithful and learn how to live as a church member.
- Have you in the past not seen the church for what it truly is?
- If you do now, what made you change?
