Some Christians have wealth and other Christians do not. How should the rich view their riches? And why does God give us riches?
Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy (1 Timothy 6.17).
Friends, do not let your riches make you arrogant, remembering that the Lord gave you the ability to get wealth. Do not trust in your riches, for they are uncertain and can leave you for no apparent reason.
Trust in the living God, for He is not uncertain, but certain, and He gave the wealth for you to enjoy. Trust the Giver, not the gifts.
- How do you view your riches?
- Do you place God first in your finances?
