While the death of the Lord’s saints is precious to the Him (Psalm 116.15), He has no pleasure in the death of the wicked,
“But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live. Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord GOD, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?” (Ezekiel 18.21–23).
When the wicked die in their wickedness, they have sealed their eternal destinies, and that means hell for the wicked, something that the Lord does not want for anyone.
Therefore, if you live in wickedness, turn right now, for the Lord would love to forgive you. He wants you to live with Him, which is why the death of His saints He considers as precious.
Questions:
- If you have repented of your wickedness, do you believe that the Lord has forgiven you?
- Have you been baptized into Christ?
