Christianity spreads love and peace, and such things grow in a community even through small efforts, such as greetings. Unsurprisingly then, the New Testament encourages us to greet others, teaching us both by direct teaching and by example, such as what John did,
The children of your elect sister greet you. Amen (2 John 13).
Especially in the church should we greet one another and anyone else who comes to worship with us.
Questions:
- Do you greet people?
- Do you wait for others to greet you first?
