After the Lord cursed the serpent for his part in the fall of the first human pair, Moses wrote that the Lord did this next,

To the woman He said:

“I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception;
In pain you shall bring forth children;
Your desire shall be for your husband,
And he shall rule over you.”
(Genesis 3.16) 

That explains how woman’s part in the family came about, but the goodness of the Lord shines through when He used woman to bring the Christ into the world. Woman has suffered plenty through the centuries in regard to bearing children, but the Lord did not forsake her, using her to bless the world with the greatest blessing ever!
