03.10.2017 – Old Testament: Deu 11.31–32
To read the Bible in a year, read Deuteronomy 11–13 on March 10, In the year of our Lord 2017

God gives to man, but He also expects from man, even as Moses declared to Israel as they were about to enter the Land of Canaan,
“For you will cross over the Jordan and go in to possess the land which the LORD your God is giving you, and you will possess it and dwell in it. And you shall be careful to observe all the statutes and judgments which I set before you today (Deuteronomy 11.31–32).
Look at the gift that He gave Israel. He gave them a land to possess and in which to dwell, and other passages show that the land already had what they would need, such as farms, orchards, vineyards, homes, streets, and the other things of community life. He just wanted them to do what He asked them to do. Is that so difficult? Is it too much to ask?
Questions:
- Does God ask too much of you?
- If not, do you do what He says to do?
