People received from Jesus, because they went to Him and wanted to hear what He had to say,

And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases, as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed (Luke 6.17–18).

When you read the Gospel Accounts, they are familiar words to you, but try to read them as though it is the first time that you have read them, or that you are even the first person ever to read them. See what it does to your attitude toward Jesus.

Questions:

  • How would you rate your desire to hear Jesus teach?
  • How have you treated others who want to hear Jesus teach?
