04.27.2017 – New Testament: Luke 21.16–17
To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 21.1–19 on April 27, In the year of our Lord 2017

Jesus warned the twelve disciples that people would hate them for what they preached, including their families,
“You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake” (Luke 21.16–17).
Here in America, we have been used to society’s acceptance of us, but that has changed in many ways. We complain about it, but we should remember that it simply fulfills the words of Jesus.
