05.26.2017 New Testament: John 10.12–13
To read the Bible in a year, read John 10.22–42 on May 26, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
Jesus cares for you. He demonstrated that when He gave His life for you. Does the preacher, elders, and others where you worship have the same care?
“But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep” (John 10.12–13).
If the preacher, for example, is a mere hireling, you will be able to tell when danger or problems arrive. If he truly cares for you, watch what he does, then you will know whether he follows the Lord Jesus Christ or not.
