06.15.2017 New Testament: Acts 1.18–19
To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 1 on June 15, In the year of our Lord 2017

The Bible shows the graphic and sad end of Judas Iscariot, who could have had a glorious future,
(Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out. And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem; so that field is called in their own language, Akel Dama, that is, Field of Blood.) (Acts 1.18–19).
Judas should have gone down in history as one of the famous men who spread the good news of Jesus that He can save us from our sins, make us live in the kingdom now, and give us an inheritance in heaven later. However, covetousness got the best of him, and he betrayed Jesus for some silver.
