07.26.2017 – New Testament: Acts 26.19–20
To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 26 on July 26, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
As Paul explained his ministry to a king, Paul spoke of a vision he received from Christ Jesus, and then the apostle said,
“Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance” (Acts 26.19–20).
Jesus told Paul to testify of the Lord in various places, and Paul explained to Agrippa that he did just what Jesus said to do, telling people everywhere the truth about Jesus of Nazareth, and telling people to repent, turn to God, and to show by their lives that they have repented.
- Have you repented?
- Do you obey what Jesus tells you to do?
