By Don Ruhl

Do you love the Lord? If you cannot say for sure, consider what the following passage teaches,

You who love the LORD, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of His saints;
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
Light is sown for the righteous,
And gladness for the upright in heart.
Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous,
And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.
(Psalm 97.10–12)

If you love the Lord, you will hate evil. If you love the Lord, and if you seek righteousness, you will rejoice in the Lord, and you will give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.

If you love the Lord, He will preserve your soul and deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and He will sow light in your life and gladness in your heart.

Questions:
