The Corinthians had either been Jews or heathens. Then Paul and his team came into town and preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many of the Corinthians hearing, believed what the apostle preached and they benefited from it greatly,

You are already full! You are already rich! You have reigned as kings without us—and indeed I could wish you did reign, that we also might reign with you! (1 Corinthians 4.8). 

How has the teaching of the apostles, which they truly received from the Lord, affected you? You are on the way to heaven!
