To read the Bible in a year, read First Corinthians 15.33–58 on September 7, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
Why can’t we have our spiritual bodies now? It does not work that way. First, we experience the natural body, then we experience the transformation of the natural body into a spiritual body,
However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual (1 Corinthians 15.46).
God through His infinite wisdom creates the seed first, then by planting it into the soil, the seed becomes something greater. So it is with the resurrection. First, we have the natural body. Later, the body dies and God will resurrect it from the ground and transform it into a spiritual body. Even as you cannot have the plant without the seed, so you cannot have the spiritual body without the natural body.
- Did you know that our bodies will be resurrected, but will be changed into spiritual bodies?
- Do you live in anticipation of that event?
