Have you looked at an airliner, something like a 747, and asked how that thing flies? Yes, someone can explain precisely how it works, yet, it still boggles the mind. Every generation no doubt has similar questions. Consider this from the Bible,

There are three things which are too wonderful for me,
Yes, four which I do not understand:
The way of an eagle in the air,
The way of a serpent on a rock,
The way of a ship in the midst of the sea,
And the way of a man with a virgin.
(Proverbs 30.18–19) 

Yes, we can explain how those first three things work, but each of them still baffles our minds. Does the fourth item have an explanation?

Questions:

  • What manmade or God-made work on earth astounds you?
  • Is there anything about you that others do not understand?
