09.19.2017 – New Testament: 2Co 11.1
To read the Bible in a year, read Second Corinthians 11.1–15 on September 19, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
Since the first century, people, even Christians, have had a problem with Paul. It does not make sense to me. He had to write Second Corinthians to a congregation that he started, defending himself against the accusations of some in Corinth. Then he said,
Oh, that you would bear with me in a little folly—and indeed you do bear with me (2 Corinthians 11.1).
Whether he was a fool or not, they believed what he preached and they became Christians. Same with you and me.
Questions:
- What do you think of Paul?
- If it is negative, why do you have that opinion?
