09.30.2017 – New Testament: Eph 2.20–22
To read the Bible in a year, read Ephesians 2 on September 30, In the year of our Lord 2017

If you are a Gentile (a non-Jew) who believes in Jesus, then He has brought you together with the Jews who believe,
…having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit (Ephesians 2.20–22).
Even from the reading alone of Solomon’s temple, the Bible impresses us with the grandness of it, but I believe what we read above of the temple of Jesus far surpasses what Solomon built, and he would agree. Paul pictures a spiritual temple with Christians as the building materials, making it grander than Solomon’s temple.
- Are you part of the temple of the Lord?
- What value do you place on the temple of Jesus?
