10.01.2017 – New Testament: Eph 3.13
To read the Bible in a year, read Ephesians 3 on October 1, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
Paul explained to the church in Ephesus that as Gentiles, they now had a wonderful part in the temple of the Lord in the Spirit. Moreover, Paul worked and suffered that they might enjoy such a blessing, but knowing of how he suffered for them could have affected them negatively. So he said,
Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory (Ephesians 3.13).
People exist in your life or have existed who have given their all for your sake that you might have the good things that you enjoy in life. That is not to put you down, but it is saying remember those people, thank God for them, and live your life to the fullest.
- What people have given for your sake?
- Have you given your all for others?
