Where does God dwell? If you answer, Heaven, you are correct, but did you know that He dwells in another place also?

For thus says the High and Lofty One
Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
“I dwell in the high and holy place,
With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,
To revive the spirit of the humble,
And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”
(Isaiah 57.15)

Yes, God dwells in the high and holy place, such as heaven, but if you have a humble spirit that is broken up over your sin, He will also dwell with you! Think on that the rest of the day and see what it does to your spirit.

  • Are you contrite over all your sins?
  • Do you want anything more than God dwelling with you?
