11.18.2017 – Old Testament: Eze 18.24
To read the Bible in a year, read Ezekiel 17–19 on November 18, In the year of our Lord 2017

God will not forget your righteousness if you continue in it, but if you turn from it, then He will not remember it, as He had Ezekiel say,
“But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die” (Ezekiel 18.24).
It is just that simple. Continue in righteousness and the Lord will remember what you have done. Turn from your righteousness and the Lord will not remember what you have done. Now how do you want to meet Him in the Judgment: As one who continued in righteousness or as one who turned away from it?
- Are you consistently righteous?
- Do you repent when you discover your sin?
