John wrote of something that the early church knew, but we do not know of it until John revealed it,

Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour (1 John 2.18). 

John declared that they were living in the last hour during the first century and the arrival of antichrists revealed that time fulfillment. Truly we live at the present during earth’s last days and hours because there will not be another age on earth after this one. The Mosaic age was not the last because another would come after it, which is the one in which we live and have been since the first century.

Questions:

• What does the word, “antichrist,” mean?
• How should you be living, knowing that this is earth’s last hour?
