King Nebuchadnezzar had achieved what most people want, a good life with no problems, until we use that good life for the wrong purpose,

“I, Nebuchadnezzar, was at rest in my house, and flourishing in my palace” (Daniel 4.4).

How could anything go wrong? Yet, it did, because as you will learn from further reading, the king glorified himself and continued in his sins. Then the Lord took it all away from the king or rather took the king away from his house and his palace and made him live as an animal.

Questions:

  • How are you doing in life?
  • Are you using it for your glory or for the glory of God?
