Jesus is the Savior of the world

1 John Bible Background

12.05.2017 – New Testament: 1Jo 4.14

To read the Bible in a year, read First John 4 on December 5, In the year of our Lord 2017

By Don Ruhl

John knew Jesus of Nazareth. John spent about 3 ½ years with Jesus, seeing the works that He did and hearing the words that He spoke. After seeing the resurrected Jesus, and after seeing the works and hearing the words of Jesus, what did John conclude about Jesus?

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world (1 John 4.14).

The Father sent Jesus to save the world. Are you saved?

  • Do you know what you must do to be saved?
  • Who is Jesus?
