By Don Ruhl
In a battle between a beast and a lamb, the beast would win every time, unless the lamb was the Son of God. John wrote that ten kings of the Roman Empire (The Beast), would fight the Lamb,
“These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful” (Revelation 17.13–14).
The ten kings unite on fighting the Lamb of God, but even so, their combined power does not do anything to the Lamb, for He created the universe. He also has with Him His faithful disciples. Those disciples cannot fall as long as they keep following the Lamb.
Questions:
- Are you with the Lamb, on His side?
- Do you fight the Lamb or do you fight for Him?
