The kingdom of heaven is marvelous, but there are those who want to ruin it, as Jesus showed in a parable,

Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way” (Matthew 13.24–25).

We do not want to believe that someone would do such a thing, but we need to believe because Jesus revealed that some people will do harm to the kingdom of heaven, the church.

Questions:

  • Have you witnessed people whom you thought initially were wonderful, but you found out later how they hurt the church?
  • Are you a faithful member of the church?
