By Don Ruhl

Jesus fed 5,000 men plus women and children with five loaves of bread and two fish, but He had 12 baskets full of leftovers,

Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children (Matthew 14.19–21).

There is only one way to explain that, it happened by miracle. Jesus miraculously multiplied the food, shown by the fact that thousands of people ate from only five loaves and two fish, yet, they had more leftovers than what they had at the beginning.

  • Do you believe that Jesus fills your needs?
  • Does worrying about whether you will have what you need make the necessities suddenly appear?
