Friends, I am resending this one, because I made a mistake. The man who planted the vineyard in this parable from Jesus was not Jesus, but the Father. Jesus is the son who appears later in the parable.

To read the Bible in a year, read Mark 12.1–27 on March 8, In the year of our Lord 2018
By Don Ruhl
The Lord left the earth, ascending back into heaven. He illustrated this with a parable,
Then He began to speak to them in parables: “A man planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a place for the wine vat and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country” (Mark 12.1).
The Father is the man who planted the vineyard and we are the vinedressers. Are we then working in His vineyard as we await His return?
- What do you do in the Lord’s vineyard?
- Are you prepared for Him to return at any time?
