You do not have to doubt the Holy Spirit

Acts Bible Background

07.01.2018 – New Testament: Acts 10.19–20

To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 10.1–23 on July 1, In the year of our Lord 2018

By Don Ruhl

Peter thought about a vision that God had given him and while he continued thinking, the Spirit spoke with him:

While Peter thought about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are seeking you. Arise therefore, go down and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them” (Acts 10.19–20).

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, as Peter was, you have no reason for doubting what the Holy Spirit says in the written word. If you are not a follower of Jesus Christ, find out why you do not follow Him.

  • Are you a believer or a doubter?
  • If you doubt what the Spirits says in the Scriptures, have you truly spent time investigating the Scriptures and what the Bible says?
