09.29.2018 – New Testament: Eph 1.15–16
To read the Bible in a year, read Ephesians 1 on September 29, In the year of our Lord 2018
By Don Ruhl
So few people walk by faith that when we hear of some that do, we should speak to the Father about them:
Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers…(Ephesians 1.15–16).
Paul prayed for the Ephesians when he heard of their faith, giving thanks to God for them, and then starting at verse 17 he revealed more of what he prayed for on their behalf, which, Lord willing, we will examine next year.
Questions:
- What do you do when you hear of faithful Christians?
- What does it mean to have faith in the Lord Jesus?
